J2EE / Web / Java Software Engineer

Participate as lead member of an Engineering team, reporting to the Director or Vice President of Engineering.
Contribute to the design, implementation and deployment of high performance services and web applications.
Design, build and manage highly scalable systems targeting partners or a specific industry sector.
Implement business-critical internal web applications.
Deliver partner-facing web applications.
Developing software to build JSP /HTML/XHTML/CSS based dynamic web applications.

BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field.
2+ years of software development experience, building and shipping Java (J2EE) web based applications.
2+ years of experience with OOP, Javascript, CSS, HTML, DOM, AJAX, J2EE, JSP, Hibernate, JPA, Struts & Web Services.
Hands-on experience working with J2EE application servers & Linux.
Strong attention to detail: Ability to implement code with corner cases covered first time.
Significant development experience in a Linux environment.
Experience in database design, SQL and object relational mapping.
Working knowledge of Internet protocols, networks, Python, Perl and/or Shell, Web services, SOAP, REST preferred.
